6/3/2026, 11:49:27 PMIt still needs some work, but the basics of it have been implemented and I'm excited to work more on it! So far, the one quest has been assigned to a character and the player is able to receive and accept the quest, thus showing it in the Quests menu, but there will be more quests to do things-

A brand-new Quests system is being added! You can keep track of active quests, side quests and their descriptions directly from the new Quests tab in the inventory menu.
Now your quest information is just a button press away. ✨

3/19/2026, 1:43:22 AMAnother very minor update to my game, we now have a light that illuminates around the player at night (and eventually caves and other dark areas too!). It has a bit of a flicker to it as well to make it seem more like a lantern light.

Minor thing for today, added in a better transition animation for transitioning from the overworld into battle.
Wasn't too hard with a godot shader, though I had little experience with godot's shaders beforehand, but I got it all figured out!
1/19/2026, 11:04:35 PMI want to make a video going more in depth about it too sometime this week, but yeah! I migrated from Godot 4.0 to 4.5 and decided to rewrite the dialogue system to better match other games in the RPG genre. Now to just rework the inventory system...
